Pie and Hentai

What better way to start the New Year?

Sitting in the hotel room hungover on New Year's Day I saw a TV doco on Pies.

So I decided to make one!!!! And she was a beauty. Check her out:





Mince, mozarella, potatoes (and a few peas and corn), baby!

I made a gravy using beef stock, beef provencale mix, worchestshire sauce, flour (to thicken), chopped onions and the secret ingredient... a tablespoon of vegemite! (hey, it's my Nana's recipe.. she knows best)

It was a mission making this pie but I did it! I miscalculated how much pastry I'd need, so I had to go back to the supermarket and buy some more. sigh. But I did it!! First pie ever and daaaamn it was good.

So. I've been to Starbucks with my uni colleague Nancy on two different occassions, and they were two different stores.

On both occassions they asked "What name for your order?" and so I said "Kenneth". But for some reason, they can't understand me when I say it. So I have to repeat myself.

I've resorted to shortening my name and saying "Kenny"and well, i'll let the photos do the

talking..
